Can technology be an interference in the classroom? Can we become to dependable on technology and forget about our traditional ways?

  1. yes and no. If there is not structure to the usage of technology in class, it can become a problem but when there is a purpose and structure it can be very fruitful.
in terms of dependency, people do rely too much on technology because once it breaks down or a problem occurs everyone seems to be clueless in terms of what to do.
take a simple technology such as the fridge, I am not sure anyone would know what to do or how to save food if all of them stop working.
I don't think we should forgo teaching the basics of life to kids and go straight to using technology because one day when a problem occurs they may be sitting duck.
