yes and no. If there is not structure to the usage of technology in class, it can become a problem but when there is a purpose and structure it can be very fruitful. in terms of dependency, people do rely too much on technology because once it breaks down or a problem occurs everyone seems to be clueless in terms of what to do. take a simple technology such as the fridge, I am not sure anyone would know what to do or how to save food if all of them stop working. I don't think we should forgo teaching the basics of life to kids and go straight to using technology because one day when a problem occurs they may be sitting duck.
